No income or earnings claims

OdysseySoul provides education about the independent travel-advisor profession. We make no representations or guarantees about income, earnings, commissions or business results.

Independent travel advisors are self-employed business owners. Outcomes depend on individual effort, skill, market conditions, time invested and factors outside anyone's control. Nothing on this site should be read as a promise of financial results or as a substitute for your own due diligence.

Not employment

Exploring or joining an independent travel-advisor path does not create an employment relationship with OdysseySoul. Specific rights, obligations, compensation and terms are defined by the agreements you enter into with a host agency or other parties.

How travel advisors are compensated

Travel advisors are generally paid a commission by travel suppliers after travel is completed, and may also charge a professional planning fee for research and design work. Any fees applicable to your trip are disclosed in advance in writing.

Editorial independence

Recommendations in our articles reflect professional judgment. Where a relationship with a supplier exists that could reasonably influence a recommendation, we disclose it.
